You held out your hand
Foolishly, I took it.

You led me on
I was blindfolded and
You left me on the edge
Of a cliff.

You pushed me
I stumbled
I fell
But you caught me.

You said
You wouldn't let me fall
And I suffered through your lies.

You brushed it off as nothing
You laughed it off
Didn't know how
I was dying inside.

I'm sick of it
I don't want your hand
To be the one that saves me.
So let go.
Let me fall once more
And this time
Don't catch me.
